Like you, I am very passionate about Archaeology and technology, and even more so when they can be in conversation with one another. For the past few months I have been exploring the possibilities of the iPad and other mobile technologies (before the Apple case study came out) as they can contribute to archaeological research and presentation. I have been using my iPad and iPod touch both in the field and in the lab, and have recently decided to start blogging my experiences with this technology in my blog entitled “Mobile Arch.”
With this blog, I hope to educate the archaeological community on what the future of archaeology might look like regarding Mobile Technology (iPhones, iPads, Droids, Blackberry, ect.) and how archaeologists might benefit through the adopting of this technology.
Again, I just started a week ago but I will be posting a few times a week. Let me know what you think and if there is any way we could collaborate or mutually benefit from one another’s work. You have an awesome website, looks fantastic and with great content.
