Working on some stuff which I can’t reveal just yet but hopefully in the near future!
Who is the person behind this site?
My name is Fredrik Larsson 25 years old and currently working as an archaeologist in Sweden. My biggest interests is archaeology, history and technology.
Shaking this blog to life again! Archaeology and Tech becomes ARATNE!

The main focus will now to keep the blog live and growing but also to advance a bit to Youtube territory by start making videos. That’s also why I sometime will talk about ARATNE Archaeology and Tech Network.
My idea is to create a platform for technology and archaeology as well as a combination between those two subjects. So this blog will now be more of a homepage with a blog inside.
There will also be a Facebook group Archaeology and Tech. I’m also on Twitter as archaeologytech so add me there as well! The blog will continue giving news about archaeology and tech. For the tech stuff with computers both PC and Mac will be covered!
I will also start to make videos for Youtube about archaeological and tech news and interesting thoughts that comes to mind. I will also make tutorial and guides both on this homepage as well as videos on Youtube about models, photogrammetry, Blender and much more.
Reviewing both gear as well as books and articles will also be posted on the homepage as well as some of it on Youtube.
In the future I will also have a forum with the possibility to discuss archaeology and technology and discuss with people the possibilities of combining science with everyday technology. The forum will probably be on another homepage in the beginning but everything will be in the same place if this turns out well.
Under the links I will build a very large library of good homepages as well as Youtube videos which I hope can be of good use to you all.
So a lot will happen and it will take time so bear with me. I’m working 40 hours a week so all the fun work with ARATNE will happen sooner or later but I’ll take small steps at a time but will try hard to be quite regular on updates anyway in some form and it is major work to get everything togheter before I get a routine to create it as well.
